Dubai, July 15

SFO Alliance today announced that it has made two new experienced hires to strengthen its team. The first will focus on the existing membership and managing the great inflow of new members, the second on events and partnerships to expand the number of locations that witcan visit each year, and work on some of the exciting new collaborations that SFO Alliance will announce over the coming period.

Reflecting on SFO Week 2026 and looking at the future, Lex van Dam, Executive Chairman, said: “Many principals, next-gens and family office CIOs offer to contribute by (co-)hosting events, including SFO Week. Separately, Jeroen Vetter’s engagement with the organisation has now concluded. Of course, we  really wish him well in whatever comes next. He has always been a great member of the community and we hope to see him at our events in the future. For the next phase of growth, as founder and executive chairman, I will take on the CEO duties myself.”

“SFO Week 2026 demonstrated the strength and uniqueness of our community. There was a remarkable sense of harmony among family office principals, next-generation members, and executives from diverse backgrounds. The commitment of our members remains the foundation of our success.”

SFO Alliance is building on the achievements of the past five years. New initiatives include the appointment of a new Vice Chairman, and the first co-hosted conference in Hong Kong early December 2026. It remains committed to its members at every step and to fostering an environment of openness, inclusion, and progress.

SFO Alliance believes that in today’s world, family offices can play a vital role in keeping communication channels open and promoting understanding across global communities when governments find it hard to do so.  It thanks all the members for their ongoing support and looks forward to continued growth and collaboration.
